Eugene Hi-Fi Comments

The Quasar is our favorite phono stage at this price point. Rock-solid great bass, an open midrange and airy treble. Most of all, the Quasar has the flow, the musicality that is missing in most phono preamps in this price range. Gain & loading adjustments are made via internal jumpers. High Output MC cartridges sound best on the low gain MC setting. When connecting to a pre amp or integrated, the low output rca jacks are recommended.

The Heed Quasar comes with a money-back guarantee. A demo unit is available for
in-home auditions for our local customers.

I have been listening the last two weekends, and I have to tell you, there is no comparison between the Slee 2SE and the Heed. Man, the Heed rocks. Thanks again for the tip - you were spot-on with this!

Reviewer Comments

"WOW! Where did all that excitement come from? I feel lighter. I feel like I’m there with the musicians, in their space. I feel like the singer is singing to me. The band has come alive. They’re not tired any more. They’re having fun. AND… they’ve upgraded all their instruments…changed their strings and their drum heads, etc. THAT’s the impression I had when listening to this system with the Quasar phono pre in the chain. "
