10X5
Dynavector's first cartridge is a high output MC (2.5 mV)
design. The 6mm long cantilever makes it a breeze to align
and the body now has threaded holes for easy headshell mounting.
The tracking force range is 1.8-2.2 grams and loads at 47k
Ohm for use with moving magnet phono stages. It's a favorite
of ours.

20XH / 20XL
The 20XH is the 2.5 mV high
output version. It loads at >1000 Ohm (typically 47k).
The 20XL is the 0.3 mV low output version that loads at >30
Ohms (typically 100 Ohm). The upgraded Micro-Ridge stylus
is very quiet.

17D3 Karat
The 17D3 us a 0.3 mV low output MC design. It uses a very
short 1.7 mm solid diamond cantilever with a Micro Ridge stylus.
The tracking force range is 1.8-2.2 grams and has a loading
recommendation of >100 ohms (typically 200-300). The 17D3
Karat is a very fast, nimble cartridge.

XX-2 mk. II
The XX2 is a 0.28 mV low
output MC design. It has several upgrades, including increased
channel separation, an Alnico magnet, a solid boron cantilver
and a PF line contact stylus. Tracking force range
is 1.8 - 2.2 grams and has a loading of >30 Ohms (typically
100 or 200).

Te Kaitora Rua
The Te Kaitua is an older
design that went through some changes. Rua is the second version.
The coils are now made of PCOCC copper (they were silver),
a titanium headpiece, a 6 mm solid boron cantilever and PF
line contact stylus and matching square-shaped armature and
aperatures in the front yolk.

XV-1s
Until recently, the 0/25
mV low output XV-1s was Dynavector's flagship cartridge. Its
8 Alnico magnets is part of a highly advanced magnetic circuit,
housed in an African Ebony body. It uses PCOCC copper wire
coils, a 6 mm solid boron cantilever and a PF line contact
stylus.

XV-1s Mono
The Mono version of the XV-1s
differs in a few areas. The vertical compliance is set considerably
lower than the horizontal complilance since mono records only
store information in the horizontal plane. The bipolar wound
coil uses a four pin output, which is convenient for stereo
phono amps. The mono cartridge also uses a boron cantilever
and line contact stylus.
